| HISTORY After 27 years as a geological draftsman Jim Hopkins realized the need for good workable maps for the oil and gas industry. With this goal in mind, Hopkins Map Service Co., LLC began providing hardcopy oil and gas development maps of the San Juan Basin to the industry in March 1986. The San Juan Basin is located in Northern New Mexico, Southern Colorado and a small part of Northwestern Arizona. There is a structure map on our homepage that shows this region. Hopkins Map Service, in keeping up with the newest technologies, now offers these same maps in a digital format which is created in AutoCad Map. Please ask us, if you need these maps in some other format. Hopkins Map Service is a family owned and operated business with Jim, Sr. and his wife, Eileen as well as Jim and Eileen's son, Jim, Jr. and his wife, Polly.
